St. Johnsbury Academy senior Maely Brightman of  Lyme, NH, has been recognized as a semifinalist in the 67th annual National Merit Scholarship Program. SJA is one of only 17 high schools in the state to have students recognized as semifinalists.

Eve Codling (l) and Audrey Royer were honored in Chapel this week for their achievements at the state SkillsUSA competition held virtually last month. Codling, a senior, won the top prize in the Commercial Baking division and will compete for the national title in June.

Senior musician Mason Davis will perform with the Vermont Youth Orchestra on May 2, 2021. After what Mark Alpizar, the Vermont Youth Orchestra Association’s music director, calls a “Senior Solo Audition,” Mason was one of four high school seniors selected to perform as a soloist.
