Marching Practices

There will be two mandatory marching practices on Wednesday, May 29 and Thursday, May 30, both starting at 9:00 am.  Please ensure that your senior is in attendance for both rehearsals. Students should wear or bring the shoes that they plan to walk in for the rehearsals.

5/16/24 – Senior Breakfast:

Seniors will get to enjoy a breakfast with their advisory in the Streeter Dining Hall during the school day, which will also be the last time that advisors and advisees will be together as a group.  Seniors will hear from their Senior Class Dean, the Alumni Office, and Dr. Howell.  The school day will remain the same with shortened classes to accommodate the Senior Breakfast.  All underclassmen will meet with their advisories in their normal advisory locations during the Senior Breakfast.

5/29 – Last Chapel:

This is an event for all current students and faculty/staff to celebrate our departing faculty and celebrate our seniors as a school.  Families may watch this ceremony. The link will be provided prior to the event.

Our Senior Prom will take place in front of Brantview Hall under the tent from 8:00 – 11:00 pm. Valet parking will be available for Seniors at the circle in front of Brantview, or they can park in any of the student parking spaces and walk up.  Families are welcome to line the Brantview Dr. sidewalk to await the arrival of their senior!

Each senior will receive eight tickets for family and friends. At 9:50 am, the gates will open to anyone who does not have a ticket; however, we cannot guarantee that everyone who enters at 9:50 am will have a seat.

To preserve the sanctity of this event, we ask that families remain seated and refrain from talking or cheering as each graduate receives their diploma.  We promise we will let you celebrate loudly and proudly once all have received their diploma!

The Graduation ceremony will be streamed on NSN Sports at www.nsnsports.net for those who are unable to attend.  Extra tickets may be available in the Headmaster’s Office starting on May 28th.

As a reminder, if you have not paid the $50.00 graduation fee, you must pay that before the eight graduation tickets can be given to your student.  If this fee creates a financial hardship for you, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Betsy Legendre or have your student stop by the Headmaster’s Office.

If you have any questions about any of the Commencement Week events, please reach out to Betsy Legendre at blegendre@stjacademy.org or (802)-751-2033.

We are so excited to share these times with you all and are so proud of each and every one of our Seniors!  Congratulations to the Class of 2024!
