Operation Creation
Operation Creation Youth Corps is an innovative program designed to inspire entrepreneurship and community pride in rising 9th graders. It provides students with the skills needed to succeed in high school, college, and the workplace.
Designed for students from St. Johnsbury and surrounding areas, this three-week summer program includes:
- Tours of local businesses
- Community service projects
- Experience running the Hilltopper Restaurant
- Creating products in a woodshop to market and sell
- Skill development:
- Leadership
- Business management
- Employability basics
- Financial literacy
- Communication

Operation Creation is staffed by dedicated members of the St. Johnsbury Academy faculty and staff and is majorly underwritten by grants and support from community businesses. The program includes three weeks of activity, breakfast, lunch, uniform, and uniform maintenance.
Hours are 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.
All students participating in the program will receive a $100.00 weekly completion fee, banking $75/week in a Youth CD.
Students completing a full year of SJA’s Operation Youth Corps will be able to share in any profits the group made during the summer.
