March 19, 2018

St. Johnsbury Academy will host a free screening of Bess O’Brien’s film All of Me on Thursday, March 22 at 6:30 p.m. in the Stuart Black Box Theater in the Charles Hosmer Morse Center for the Arts.

All of Me explores the many roots of eating disorders including body issues, food, and most importantly the underlying emotional issues from which eating orders stem including depression, anxiety, trauma, sensitivity, control, perfectionism, and other mental health issues. The film will be followed by a Q&A with people who were profiled along with Bess O’Brien.

Leslie Davenport, LCSW, Outreach Coordinator of the Balance Eating Disorder Clinic in New York City said, “Filmmaker Bess O’Brien deftly guides us through the many complex elements one navigates when suffering from an eating disorder… heartbreaking, yet hopeful as the film depicts recovery through expert treatment and the unyielding support of loved ones.”
