A reminder that if you did not have your photo taken for the yearbook last month have one last chance to avoid seeing your school ID photo in the yearbook. Mr. Legge will be taking photos tomorrow, Thursday, from 8:30 to 3:00 on Fuller stage.

 

Juniors and Seniors — College of the Holy Cross, St. Lawrence University, Furman University, and Colby College are on campus today for a visit. Please see Naviance or Mrs. LaBounty for details and to register. Be sure to check in with your teacher before attending.

 

This Friday after school starting at 3:30 there will be a pumpkin carving event in the Amphitheatre. We are helping the town carve pumpkins for their big Halloween event. Everything will be supplied. Come carve a pumpkin!

 

What’s warm, fuzzy, and extra comfortable? You, Sophomores, in your brand-new Class of 2027 sweatpants! Remember that Class of ’27 sweatpants money, sizes and colors are due today to your advisor. 

 

Student Diversity Council meets today at 2:45 in Ranger 210. All who wish to help plan for our Dia de los Muertos altar are welcome to attend! 

 

Attention to those of you who are still interested in attending the November 2nd-3rd backpacking trip. Given experience and weather conditions, we are going to stay overnight at the Zealand Falls hut that weekend. In order to confirm your spot on the trip, please respond to the form sent to your school email by no later than the end of the school day today. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to Ms. Hibbert or Mr. Demsky. 

 

Do you like cake? Do you like raffles? The Brown Advisory is holding a raffle for the next week to raise money for NEKCA as part of the Healthy Community fundraiser. You can buy tickets to select the flavors or theme of a cake baked and decorated by the professional confectioners of the Brown Advisory. Winners of each category will receive a cake to share with friends. 1 ticket for $1, or 6 for $5. Please see a representative of the Brown Advisory to purchase tickets or come to Newell Hall 12.

 

For Karina Henderson’s Senior Capstone, she will be hosting a Family Fun Night with a spaghetti dinner on November 15th from 4pm-7pm at The American Legion in St. Johnsbury. The cost is by donation and funds raised will go towards the Legion’s support of veterans in our community. You are encouraged to RSVP to Karina at Karinahenderson86@gmail.com by Friday, November 5th. Flyers will be placed around campus as well.
