Green Day

Mr. Legendre and Mr. Urie’s B block Health classes need to report to Fuller Basement for class today.

A reminder to all faculty and students to take a few minutes to complete the 2023 Technology survey that Mr. Peters sent out. If you don’t have the link in your email, please email the IT Helpdesk @ ithelpdesk@stjacademy.org to request it.

Last call for those Student Gov petitions that are due today by noon. Mr. Ryan will be standing outside of Fairbanks Cottage right after advisory for any who may want to walk by with a petition to hand in.

If you want to be on the Climbing Wall or Ropes Course on Friday at Spring Day, then you will also want to be picking up a permission slip in the Student Life office.

Applicants for the 2024 February Break trip to London and Paris, this announcement is for you! Please remember that Packet One, with 5 documents that need to be signed, is due this Thursday, May 18th. Please note that we will be having a meeting directly following school in Mrs. Kendall’s room, Streeter 223, this Thursday for those of you who are interested in applying for the trip; feel free to bring your packet then if you have not already turned it in. If you are unable to make the meeting, please contact either Mrs. Kendall or Mrs. Murphy. If you still need to pick up a packet so that you can have it all filled out before the meeting on Thursday, you may do so outside of Mrs. Kendall’s room or from Mrs. Murphy today. Thank you and see you this Thursday after school in Streeter 223!

Don’t miss out on the last Outing Club trip of the year! For this adventure, we will be going rock climbing and scaling some vertical walls of granite using nothing but our fingers and toes! The weather is going to be incredible so don’t miss out on this trip! No experience is necessary, and this trip is of no cost to you. This trip is Saturday, May 20th, and will depart from Brantview drive at 9am. See Mr. Holden and Mr. Weiss for details and to get your permission slips.  Dare to explore.

Don’t forget that the She’s the First Club is collecting donations for our charity yard sale this Friday at Spring Day. Please bring your donations of gently worn clothing, bean bags, posters, sports equipment, books, and other small items to Ms. Drew’s room, Colby 204. We are accepting donations until end of conference period on Thursday, May 18. Please avoid donating any damaged or dirty items. Thank you for your support!

Mrs. Morris is looking for volunteers for the Prouty Community Walk on Saturday, May 20th from 9:30 AM at 1 PM. Proceeds from the event benefit patients at our local Cancer Center. Student volunteers will be helping with registration, setting up snacks, and cheering on participants. If you’re interested in helping out, please email Mrs. Morris or stop by Ranger 212 for more information.
