White Day / Ugly Holiday Sweater Day

 

A reminder that exams begin tomorrow with the Humanities/History exams starting at 9:00am and the English/ESL exams starting at 1:00pm. Please plan to arrive no later than 15 minutes prior to your exam. Exam locations will be posted in Colby and Ranger Hall, and the dress code is Variety Day attire for all exam days. The CTE Department will also be holding their showcase throughout the day tomorrow, so be sure to stop by Streeter Hall to see all the hard work of our CTE students.

 

Happy Birthday today to SJA! Today marks the 180th birthday of our beloved school! To help celebrate, Chef B and the culinary students have prepared cupcakes for everyone to enjoy in the Streeter Dining Hall during C block today! A special thanks to Chef B for making today extra special! 

 

Class of 2023, the Guidance office will be open from 9:00-1:00 on December 29th to help students with their January deadlines. Please reach out to your guidance counselor to set up a time. Also, be sure to check out the Naviance scholarship page, as local scholarship information is becoming available.

 

A reminder to the Classes of 2024 and 2025. The National Honor Society Application is live, and information has been shared with you and your families via your stjlabs email. Completed applications must be submitted by January 20th to be eligible for induction this year. See Mrs. Reed in Guidance with any questions!

Attention International Students — The first TOEFL of second semester will be January 21. The registration deadline for the January TOEFL is this Friday, December 16th. A link to register for the test has been sent to your stjlabs email. See Mrs. McCaffrey with any questions.

 

Hilltopper Boys’ Hockey takes on the Vikings from Lyndon Institute on Wednesday night at 6pm. Need a ride? Take the Topper fan bus! Sign-up in Student Life with Mr. LaCroix. Limited availability, so stop in after Chapel and secure your seat. Make sure to get your studying done before or after the game. Go Hilltoppers!

 

Inspiring Girls is an organization that provides tuition free expeditions that interweave field science, art, and backcountry travel. Opportunities are open to females, transgender, agender, and nonbinary youth ages 16-18 years old to participate in a 14-day backcountry expedition this summer. Contact Mr. Eckel at his stjlabs email or stop by Streeter 241 for links and information.

 

Outing Club will travel to North Country Climbing center today at 3:30. We need at least 6 to run the trip, so please consider rocking out with us.  Again, leaving Brantview drive at 3:30 and returning by 6. Dare to explore!

Help HOPE make the holidays magical for all kids! Outside the Headmaster’s Office is a Toys for Tots collection box for new, unwrapped toys. Donations will be accepted through the rest of the semester.
