Tinker Health Center is collecting coats for the Paul Sweeney Memorial Coat Drive from now until November 2nd. Coats can also be dropped off at NVRH, Passumpsic Bank, or Community National Bank. Children’s outerwear, gloves, mittens, hats, scarves, and blankets are also appreciated. Free coats will be available on November 4th from 9-12 at the Good Shepherd Catholic School.

The Spirit Week Dance will take place on Saturday from 7-10 in the Gym. The cost is $2 and if you are coming, you will need to show up by 8 p.m.

There is somebody talking stuff about cardboard out there that is not true. Balsa wood is most likely the one getting all up in cardboard’s business. Stop hating Balsa wood because you are known for being part of cheap toys that break, and you can’t even burn because you are attached to a Popsicle. Show respect for cardboard by bringing it in to burn. A trailer will be parked on Brantview Drive tomorrow afternoon where you can bring your donations.

Maroon was defined as a color in the 16th century to define unruly people. After quickly going out of style it returned as a color in the 1780s t that represented ambition and something that was less powerful than red. Green represents prosperity, progress, balance, and youthful energy. Sounds like green is the choice. Please see Mr. Ryan for additional Spirit Week philosophies in 15 seconds or less.

Happy Birthday today to Alia Davis and Robert Bunnell!
