Brain Bee had an amazing experience in the neuroanatomy dissection lab at UVM 10 days ago. We were privileged to hold and examine human brain specimens with the assistance of expert guides. Uma Chirkova reports: “I had an incredible time at the Vermont Brain Bee Boot Camp. It drastically improved my understanding of neurological concepts, and the hands-on lab portion was a unique opportunity that took my knowledge of brain anatomy to the next level. I’m incredibly thankful for the UVM students guiding the lab experience!” And a special thank you to Mr. Lynch for making it possible. This coming Saturday, Brain Bee goes back to UVM to participate in the state tournament. Cheer gear will be lab aprons and gloves!

Math club will not meet today. We will meet next week for a double competition!

Thanks to all of you for your part in the Democracy in Action Winter Carnival Event… Voters have spoken, and Musical Genres is the theme.

Attention Class of 2025: The light at the end of the proverbial tunnel flickers: Winter Break is on the horizon, and with it — WINTER CARNIVAL. This year’s school theme is Music Genres. Our class needs to pick a Music Genre as our theme for the Class Banner and Theme Dress Up Day. Check your STJLabs email OR the 2025 Canvas page for a link to the Class of 2025’s Winter Carnival Theme nomination form.  Suggest a theme today, and tomorrow we will vote on the top 5. FYI: Mr. Dussault likes “jazzercise music”.
