St. Johnsbury Academy’s Heating & Plumbing II students recently received 30 Worksite Backpacks, thanks to generous support from F.W. Webb Company, Trombly Plumbing & Heating, and local plumbing professionals.

Presented by Heather Wallek of Trombly Plumbing & Heating, the backpacks, valued at $19,000, provide students with professional-grade tools and equipment to support their hands-on training. F.W. Webb Company donated 15 backpacks, while the Granite Group made an additional 15 available at cost to local plumbers, who purchased them to donate to the Academy’s Heating & Plumbing program.

The donations give students valuable resources as they build the technical knowledge and hands-on experience needed to pursue careers in the heating and plumbing trades.

(L-R:) SJA Heating & Plumbing instructor Jeff Roberts, Al Baseman (Trombly Plumbing & Heating), Levi Thompson, Logan Farnsworth, Holden Brigham, Ryan Maynard, Brandon Sheldon, Sam Rosen (FW Webb), and Heather Wallek, SJA Class of ’95.
