White Day

This is your last chance to purchase a discounted Burke Mountain Season Pass. Applications are due today! Contact Mrs. Greenwood in the Business Office for more information.

There’s still a chance to help with the Giving Tree project. Take a tag from the bulletin board on the first floor of Ranger breezeway, purchase a gift on the wish list, and return the tag and unwrapped gift to C303 by Monday, 12/5 at the latest! Please see Mrs. Scavitto with questions.

VT Supports will begin packing holiday care packages for deployed troops beginning on Friday. A list of items is still needed, including a range of things from hot chocolate to pens and notebooks, to socks, toothbrushes, and Christmas cards. The top advisory from each class will earn a box of advisory goodies! Donations can be placed outside Streeter Hall Room 256.  See Ms. Holcombe with any questions or for a full list of items needed.

Stop by the Library Archives to dig through old photos and check out some vintage fashion with the Academy Historical Society- today after CP!

The Maker Space will be open this afternoon for creativity and camaraderie. Bring your ideas for holiday gifts or ornaments! See you in Streeter 141 starting at 3:45.

Hello, all of my Outing Club climbing enthusiasts! You will be happy to know that we just got word from our friends at North Country Climbing Center that we will be able to start going over there for some indoor climbing fun starting Dec. 6th.  We will leave campus at 3:35 and return by 6pm. If you are a dorm student and signed up for Outing Club, you must attend. If you are a day student and want to attend, please email or see Mr. Holden ASAP to get put on the list.  Spots will be first come first serve basis and we only have about 12 spots on the bus, so don’t wait if you want to go!

Join printmakers today for a fun afternoon making Christmas cards while enjoying hot chocolate. Follow the Christmas music to the 3rd floor of Morse right after school.

A big thank you to all who have contributed to the Mural of Gratitude in the library. The items you’ve already shared show how deeply grateful you are for friends and partners, beloved teachers, family, kittens, goats, bearded dragons, for snow, board games, sushi, and more. Today is your final chance to add to this shared project. Email your photos and words of thankfulness today to library@stjlabs.com or come in person to add your thoughts. Tomorrow the mural will be carefully photographed, dismantled and all items added to the SJA Archives to be preserved. Thank you.

Happy Birthday today to Thomas Kunkel, Ruby Rolfe, Andrew Edwards, Ava Hovey, and Macy Moore!

As we approach a point where ice and snow are more of a part of our daily lives, we need to ask you to please be mindful of your backpack placement around Chapel each morning. The front and side entrances, as well as the front stairs are difficult in the best of conditions. Please be thoughtful and leave your backpack in a place that does not interfere with others’ ability to enter and exit Chapel.
