A reminder that Jenks Studio is here taking photos. Juniors and any senior wanting Jenks to take your senior photo, please remember to stop by Fuller Hall today or tomorrow to have your photo taken! Any Freshman or Sophomore who missed their scheduled time earlier in the week are also encouraged to stop by Fuller today or tomorrow.

 

Calling all College Bound Hilltoppers! The following colleges all have virtual visits today: Bishop’s University—Zoom at 10am; Syracuse University at 11:30am; University of Richmond at 12:30pm; University of Massachusetts – Lowell at 1:30pm. Be sure to sign up for their visits on Naviance and to view all details. If you are scheduled to be in class during the time of the visit, please check in with your teacher before coming to the college visit.

 

The following colleges will have visits tomorrow: Plymouth State University, University of Southern Maine, Lincoln Technical Institute-East Windsor, Dean College, University of Maine at Farmington, Gettysburg College, University of Vermont (Seniors only), and Wheaton College – Massachusetts. Be sure to visit Naviance to sign up for all college visits.

 

Juniors and seniors that are applying to join the Colwell Scholars (or are thinking about applying) should meet with Mr. Ehrean after school on Thursday in Ranger 115.

The Science Olympiad Team is meeting both today and Thursday in Streeter 241 from 3:30 -4:30. Please bring outlines of your event to share. 

 

Have you wondered what 3D printing is all about, or heard that the Academy has a 3D printer but have no idea where it is? Or have you ever wanted to use a laser to slice through wood like a hot knife through butter? Maybe you’d like to create a custom vinyl sticker for your bedroom wall, add flashing lights to your favorite hoodie, design a video game, or experiment with a 3D pen. If you are excited about high-tech crafting and making, Codecraft Club is for you. We meet today and most Wednesdays in the Maker Space at 3:45. The Maker Space is on the first floor of Streeter, behind the cafeteria and across from the Wood Shop in Streeter 141. See Dr. Desjardins if you have any questions about the possibilities!
