White Day
Tomorrow we will follow the Friday Advisory schedule. There will be no school on Friday or Monday of next week.
Tomorrow will also be a Variety Day to raise funds for the Volleyball team’s Pink Out Game on October 14th. All donations will go to the NVRH Breast Cancer Education Fund. The cost is $1.00 and all are encouraged to wear pink as part of their Variety Day attire.
Reminder for those attending Women Can Do — the bus leaves Brantview Drive tomorrow at 7:40am, so please be on board by 7:35. We will return around 3:00. Weather looks to be cool and partly cloudy. Many activities are outside so dress accordingly! Closed toes shoes are a must — no Berks, Crocs, or sandals. Additional details on approved apparel (and maple treats) are in the email sent to you last week. See Mrs. McGarvin in Streeter 210 or send her an email if you have any last-minute questions!
There will be an informational meeting for all students interested in Alpine racing this winter on Monday, October 12th at 3:00 in the Alumni Gym bleachers. If you have any questions, please see Mr. McGinn.
If you want to start to learn the foundations of saving and investing join the Investing Club at 3:30pm in Severance 24.
It’s a Kind of Magic, Sympathy for the Devil, Abracadabra…These are just some of the musical hits inspired by the supernatural in our current age. To hear some of these other voices from the past, you will need to come on the Vermont Symphony Orchestra Halloween concert trip to Burlington on Saturday 10/31. Tickets cost just $15, and you will need to pick up a signed permission slip from the Learning Center, Ranger 110, the Library circulation desk, or Student Life. Slips and money are due back to Mr. Mackenzie by Friday October 16. Please note that tickets are limited. And, as Benson Boone reminds us: some opportunities are just too “magical, mystical” to be missed!!
Happy Birthday today to Grady Davis & Pedja Tijanic!
