NHS Members — need hours? Mrs. Legendre in the Headmaster’s Office needs your help with our first Meet the Teachers event tomorrow night from 6:00 – 7:30pm. If you are interested, please stop by the Headmaster’s Office today to sign up!

School photos will be taken next Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday on the Fuller Hall Stage from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. There is no charge to have your photo taken for the yearbook. Prints will also be available for purchase. Seniors who have not yet had their photo taken are especially encouraged to stop by and have their yearbook photo taken at no charge.

Attention students participating in the exchange with Sapere Aude in Spain! Please remember to fill out your field trip permission form and return it, along with payment, by this coming Friday. If you haven’t received a form yet, please email Mrs. Montague at carmenza.montague@stjacademy.org as soon as possible.

Wednesday afternoons are the meeting time for the Model United Nations club. If you’re interested in international affairs, conflict resolution, or if you want to develop your public speaking and problem-solving skills, Model UN could be for you. We are particularly keen to have ninth-grade students join our club and attend conferences with us. We meet in the Colwell Center (in the basement of the library) at 3:30. Please let Mr. Cushman or Mr. Ehrean know if you’re interested but unable to attend.

“John Proctor Is The Villain” is a revisionist take on the classic “The Crucible”, centering on a group of high school students and their interpretation of the historical events the play is based on. The play, soon to become a movie, will be presented in a matinee performance at Northern Stage October 6th at 11am and Mr. Rowe is offering a bus to the show. If interested, you must sign up by this coming Friday to secure discounted tickets. Information and the sign-up sheet will be on the door of Morse 104.
