It has been brought to the school’s attention that students are crossing Western Avenue between Streeter and the lower lot near the Elks Club. This is a significant safety concern, as visibility for drivers coming down Western Avenue is limited due to the snowbanks. Please remember that pedestrians are required to use designated crosswalks. Vehicles are not required to stop for individuals crossing in areas where there is no marked crosswalk. If you park in a location that requires you to walk along Western Avenue, you must use the marked crosswalk by Newell Hall. Thank you for your attention to this important safety matter.

If you want to be considered for free Driver’s Education for next year, the sign-ups close this Friday. If you do not signup by this Friday, you will be automatically at the end of the waitlist. Please see your guidance counselor to sign up.

Immediate attention, Outing Clubbers! Get ready for the most exciting trip of the winter season! We are going for a two-day, one night adventure to the Dartmouth College Second Grant north of Errol, NH. The trip will depart Friday March 13 and return March 14th. We will stay overnight in cabins with bunks, a kitchen, and wood stoves. You’ll need outdoor gear for cross-country skiing and/or snowshoeing. The trip costs $35, covering your food and lodging. Limited spots are available, so please stop by the Student Life office to grab a permission slip and to get your name down for the trip. Email Mrs. Mackenzie or Mr. Holden if you have any concerns about cost, or if you have gear issues with which you need some help.
