Green Day

Hey everyone! If you park in the Elk’s Parking Lot, please be sure to use the sidewalk along Western Avenue up to Main Street and cross at the designated crosswalk in front of Ranger Hall. We ask that you do this all year long, but especially right now since cars on Western Avenue can have a hard time slowing down or stopping — and your safety is our top priority. Thanks for doing your part to stay safe!

The SAT Math Prep x-block will meet tonight from 6-8pm in Mrs. Gould’s room, SV25. Come learn how to use DESMOS to answer many of the SAT math question while reviewing some Algebra topics. That’s SAT math prep, tonight from 6-8 in SV25 (enter through the door at the south end of Severance near the Headmaster’s house).

Our Japan Travelers and all of our current students from Japan are reminded to come to Ranger 108 for a meeting right after E Block today.

The fashion program is still accepting model applications until this Thursday, January 29th. If you are interested, please send Ms. Darling an email at flo.darling@stjacademy.org, and she will send you a very short survey to fill out, then come by Morse 201 after school!

The Robotics Team is hosting a fundraiser Brazilian Barbecue dinner on February 1st at the Little Grille in Littleton, New Hampshire! Tickets are $50 and include Barbecue dinner and beverages; to purchase tickets, ask a team member or scan the QR codes on posters found around campus.

Attention Students: Save the date: Friday, February 13, the day before Valentine’s Day, is the date of this year’s Valentines Dance. This is a semi-formal dance that will be hosted in the Dining Hall, 7-10pm. The cost is $3/person, $5 for a pair. DJ Weiss will be spinning tunes. That’s worth the price of admission alone! Drinks and snacks will be available for purchase. You must have school ID to enter. If you would like to bring a non-Academy guest, you will need to sign them up in the Student Life Office by Wednesday, February 11. We look forward to seeing you on Friday, February 13!

Interested in learning more about how your voice can have an impact at the state level? Want to be involved and learn more about policies in the state house aimed at supporting mental health? Consider signing up for the Mental Health Advocacy Field trip taking place on Wednesday February 11th. This will be an all day field trip. Reach out to Ms. Cote in Tinker with questions.

Attention all Hilltoppers! If you and your advisory weren’t able to make valentines for the Council on Agency last Friday, there’s still time to support this special project. We’ll have supplies set up in the library on Thursday and Friday this week. Feel free to stop by during your free block and after school. We’ll collect all the completed valentines and add them to the rest to deliver on Monday. Thanks for your love and caring of our older community members!

Happy Birthday today to Kevin Liao, Daniel Zhang, Caden Walker, Audrianna Gingras, and Bobby Gray!
