Due to an ongoing issue with students leaving plates and trash in the cafe during lunch, students are not allowed to bring lunch into the cafe for the remainder of the week. We will allow students to bring lunch from the dining hall to the cafe again starting on Monday. This is another opportunity for students to learn the importance of our basic expectations to clean up after ourselves.

Donating blood is a vital act of compassion that can save lives! Stop by the Blood Drive registration table in the dining hall during C block this week to make an appointment to donate blood during our March 20th Blood Drive.

Any international student needing to take the April 12th TOEFL must register with Mrs. McCaffrey in Colby 106 by noon tomorrow.

Book Club will meet in the library tonight from 5:30 to 7:00 to discuss the first part of Lauren Groff’s The Vaster Wilds. We hope to see you there!

Due to no classes being held this Friday, Improv Club will meet tomorrow, Thursday 3/13, instead of the regular Friday time. We hope to see you in Fuller tomorrow from 3:15-4:30!

Legend has it that a century or so ago, in beautifully bucolic Peacham, an old hermit lived in a cabin at the bottom of a hill. The locals knew him as Wizard Miers since he was a self-proclaimed alchemist and was attempting to transmute silver into gold. On a stormy night, with lightning striking all over, he had his cabin, and the entire hill turned to flame! Come out and explore the beautiful history of Peacham with a hike up Devil Hill on Sunday, March 16th. We’ll enjoy nice trails and then have a hearty lunch from legendary 3 Ponds in Danville.  To sign up for this outing, go to Ms. Greenlaw in Student Life or see Mr. Holden.

Inner circle will meet today at 3:15 and head over to the library to attend Frances Cannon’s reading.

What do March and mental health have in common? March honors many different themes highlighting mental health. March 2nd honored Mental Wellness Day. What are some ways you can make an impact on your wellness and mental health? Encourage parents, teachers, and mentors to check in on the mental well-being of teens; organize or participate in discussions about stress management and self-care; support mental health organizations focused on youth mental wellness.
