Green Day

ABDEC Schedule

Twin Day

This afternoon, starting at 1:15, be sure to join either the skit, banner, or dance meeting for your class! Check your stjlabs email for the full schedule and room locations. Tomorrow, we will follow the ABDEC schedule again, with Chapel beginning at 1:15pm in Fuller Hall.

Tomorrow is Class Theme Day, so break out your laziest Garfield, your most adventurous Wild Kratts, your bounciest Pixar character, or your spookiest Scooby Doo costumes!  Friday is SJA/Green & White Variety Day for all!

Check your e-mail for the Spirit Squad ballot, and vote for two students. Choose well — just like you will need to do on Friday morning at a certain time when you could be at Floor Hockey, the Fitness Challenge, Board Games, or the Poetry Slam. Choose well, have fun!

Any student interested in inviting an outside guest to Friday’s Winter Carnival Dance must sign them up in the Student Life office by the end of the day tomorrow.

Calling all concert-goers! This evening, the Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra is giving its symphony concert at Lyndon Institute. The bus will leave Brantview Drive at 6:15 pm and return to SJA by 10 pm. Mr. Mackenzie looks forward to seeing those of you who signed up for this rare and unforgettable musical opportunity on the bus at 6:15!

The Baking and Pastry classes will have a bake sale in front of the Mayo Library right after Winter Carnival Chapel tomorrow. On sale will be whoopie pies, pumpkin whoopie pies, cookies, cheesecake, and possibly Chef B’s famous maple glazed donuts. Stop by the table to see what is on the menu. Cash sales only and thank you for your support!

Winter Carnival is almost here! You know what that means? Participation ribbons!  JK, actually it is not about the ribbons, it is about the participation! If you get involved, you are having fun while being side by side with your classmates. That is connection, that is fun, and that is how you win. Is “winning” a bad word? It depends on how you win. When you get involved, spread the hype, and support your friends, then there will be a first-place class and a fourth-place class, yet we will all win! Remember that and thank every faculty member, advisor and Student Gov Rep who is making this happen!

Happy Birthday today to Gage Beck, Paulina Plankarte Pilego, Brodie Ryan, and a special Happy Birthday to Ivy Pavick from her advisory!
