Attention International Seniors and Juniors — The registration deadline for the December 12th TOEFL is tomorrow! Any student needing to take the TOEFL should email Mrs. McCaffrey at mmccaffrey@stjlabs.com to get the link to the registration form. Juniors are encouraged to sign up, seniors will be given priority. Please email Mrs. McCaffrey with any questions.

Feeling nostalgic? Wish you could go back to the “good old days,” when life was simpler and “zooming” just meant driving really fast? Auld lang syne might not help, but the Class of 2023 can! Come to our vintage SJA gear sale outside of the library today and tomorrow, to purchase some sweet Academy retro looks to sport in your future zoom sessions. Stock is limited, so remember to hurry over right after E-block to nab your favorite styles!

The recent snow means that winter will soon be here. Winter means awesome winter sports. The Alpine Ski Racing Team will be meeting this Thursday in the gym at 3:30 for an informational meeting about the upcoming season. Please contact Mr. Eckhardt if you cannot attend. See you Thursday afternoon!

If you are interested in tryouts for all levels of boys’ basketball, please attend the Meet-the-Coaches Zoom meeting on Tuesday, 12/1 @ 7:00pm. An invitation to this meeting will be sent out in advance. The state of Vermont has restricted “open gym” usage as of last week. However, if you are interested in accessing skill and weight lifting workouts through the Train Heroic app prior to tryouts on Monday, 12/7, please contact Coach Davis for access at bdavis@stjacademy.org.

Are you interested in the weather? Science Olympiad is meeting Wednesday from 3:15-4:15 in Streeter 241 to discuss the December MY S.O. Challenge on Weather. We have a month to prepare to demonstrate our understanding of the interactions among solar irradiance and the land, water, and air of our planet that become the weather. Again: Streeter 241 from 3:15 – 4:15. Email Mr. Eckel with questions.

Do you get excited when you see an exclamation point next to a number? Do you stand against the pressure of the Squeeze Theorem? Join us for Math Club today or tomorrow for our 2nd Round of our Math League competition in Fuller Basement from 3:30-4:30. Contact Mr. Kinsella or Mr. Stapleford if you have any questions.

Happy Birthday today to William Liu and Delaney Rankin.
