Students in Mrs. McGarvin’s C and E block human services classes should report to Brantview Drive today at the start of their class time (after 1st lunch for C block) for their field trip to Northeast Kingdom Community Action. Students who miss the bus must report to Student Life.
Please join us for the spring Fireside Literary Series talk in the library at 3:30, featuring SJA alum and writer Adrienne Raphel. Ms. Raphel will share her poetry, her snarky creative non-fiction, and anecdotes about her pathway towards becoming a writer. There will be cookies and cider for all, and Ms. Raphel will sign books that will be available for purchase. See you there!
On April 18th during blocks B and C, they’ll be a Career Fair at the Ice Arena in Lyndonville. Many local businesses will be there, and it’ll be a good opportunity to check out career and internship possibilities. This is open to juniors, seniors and sophomores that have taken or are currently taking a CTE course. If interested, please stop by Mr. Carr’s office in Streeter 132 for a permission slip.

Come celebrate Spring this Friday as the Sophomore class will host this year’s Disco Dance in the Dining Hall from 8:00-10:30. The cost will be $3 person/$5 for two people. If you would like to bring an outside guest, you will need to sign them up in the Student Life Office by tomorrow!
All juniors in the VSAC GEAR UP program with Ms. Turner are asked to please check in with her in the dining hall at lunch time today. You are encouraged to check your email, and to make other arrangements to connect with Ms. Turner if you are not able to check in today.

Math Club will be meeting this Tuesday for our final round of the New England Math League. Severance 15 from 3:45-4:45. Be there or be squared!

Mr. Kinsella will be offering a factoring skills workshop this Wednesday in Severance 15 from 3:30 to 4:30. This could benefit any student from Algebra 1 to Precalculus. Stretch you mind or look to review a key concept that is used across many math classes. See you in Severance 15 tomorrow at 3:30pm.

The 2023 VT Coaches Girls Ice Hockey Coaches Association has chosen Brooke-Lynne Choiniere of the Kingdom Blades to the Division 2 All-Star First Team as a defenseman. Congratulations, Brooke-Lynne!
