Love has many different definitions, but abuse isn’t one of them. Every single person deserves to be in a safe and healthy relationship. Come by after school to learn more about engaging in healthy relationships in the library media room from 3:30-4:30 PM today! An advocate from Umbrella will also be there to share information. This will count as an afternoon activity for dorm students.  Snacks will be provided, see you there!

Just a reminder from the Make It Better Club: The Recharge Room will go live this Wednesday, February 15, in the library. Listen for another announcement tomorrow with more information.

Ice Climbing is here! The Outing Club is taking you outside for some ice on Saturday, the 18th, that’s this Saturday! Want to grab medieval weaponry and swing it into frozen waterfalls? Of course you do. You must see Mr. Weiss for permission slips and boot sizing, so get yourself to Colby 209 ASAP to secure a spot on the trip. No experience necessary, and all gear will be provided. Let’s get after it!

Mr. Camelio’s Joke of the Week — Valentine’s Day style: What did the chef give his wife for Valentine’s day? A hug and a quiche. 😊 Happy Valentine’s Day!

Happy Birthday today to Claudia Canuto and Ximena Mayorga Santana!

The Hilltoppers were relentless all game long in route to a bounce back win over #3 ranked South Burlington 69-60.  Harry Geng had 22 points, followed by Rex Hauser with 12 points, and Kerrick Medose with 11 points. Aidan Brody and Carter Bunnell each tallied 8 points.

Last Thursday, the Academy nordic team fought the heavy wet snow to win the 15k classic/skate relays at Kingdom Trails. The team of Siri Jolliffe and Ruth Krebs won the girls’ varsity race, followed by the third-place finish of team Anya Moriarty and Mary Fowler. Sisu Lange and Charles Krebs handily won the boys race, followed by the 2nd place finish of team Nathan Lenzini and Nick Reed.  The Academy JV racers won their races as well, as the teams of Sam Dunn and Charley Vaal and Zoe Buhner and Olivia Blanchard won their respective races.

And, on Sunday at the Eastern Qualifiers race at Sleepy Hollow Nordic Center, Ruth and Charles Krebs earned spots to represent the state of Vermont at the Eastern High School Championships to be held later this year at Rickert Nordic Center.
