Green Day

Make-up photos will be taken in Fuller Hall on Thursday from 8:30 to 3:30. If you did not have your school photo taken in the fall or if you are new this semester, please stop by to have a photo taken for the yearbook. There is no charge to have your photo taken. Please contact Mr. Legge with any questions.

It’s time for some cozy gear! Be sure to get your 2025 gear order in to Mr. Dussault in Colby 202 by the end of the week.

The Make it Better Club wants to thank the Kendall and Woods/Hubacz advisories for getting us off to a great start with all the valentines they made! After school today at 3:45 in the library, we’ll be making more valentines to support the Agency on Aging’s mission to spread love and community connectedness with elderly community members. If you have time to join us, everyone is welcome! That’s 3:45-4:45 in the main floor of the library. To sweeten the experience, there will be cookies! Look for the pink and red hearts!

The Chess club will continue to meet today after school in the Streeter beach area. A reminder that this Saturday, all interested chess players are welcome to attend a friendly dual match against Lamoille High School. The event will be hosted on the second floor of Streeter from 10:00am-3:00pm. Players will play in two 30-minute matches and then have time for a Blitz chess tournament with 5 minutes on the clocks. All are welcome, and there will be pizza. Please email or see Mr. Hartshorn about attending.

Do you enjoy jigsaw puzzles, mathematical mind games, and abstract analytical problem solving? Stop by Math Club in Severance 15 every Tuesday from 3:40-4:45 for some jigsawing, math team competitions, and more… there will be treats! See Mr. Kinsella or Mr. Stapleford if you have any questions.

Attention all athletes: If you are not currently in a sport and want to get faster and stronger, as well as prepare for your next upcoming season, off-season weight training will be held every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday starting on February 6th. Coach Becker will train with boys’ from 3:30-4:15 and girls’ from 4:15-5:00. On Wednesdays, all genders are welcomed from 5:00-6:00. See you there!

Attention students: If you are interested in learning more about weightlifting or how to better your form and technique, there will be a Weightlifting Club every Wednesday from 3:45- 5:00 starting on February 8th. All are welcome!

Like the Chiefs and the Eagles, you are a winner! While it may not be football, you are winning in the Game of Life… or Memory, Risk, or Candy Land. If you are this type of winner, get ready for Friday, February 10ths’ Winter Carnival Board Game Event. You not only can win as an individual, but as a class when you bring your board games to earn participation points. So, get ready and bring your Clue, Boggle, and UNO… because it is always great to have your class be UNO and definitely not Cuatro.

Hilltoppers — are you ready to rock? For those about to rock, we salute you, but we also salute those who choose paper or scissors. Let the countdown start — 10 days until Winter Carnival Rock, Paper, and Scissors!

Congratulations to all who took part in the democratic process yesterday. The voters have spoken, and it is time to rally around our new leader, not a person but a theme, and that theme is — Reality TV! Enjoy the subtheme selection and remember, this is not about keeping up with the Kardashians, it is about keeping up with the Senior Class … Junior Class … Sophomore Class … and Freshman Class!

Kingdom Blades hockey beat Stowe, 7-3.

Happy Birthday today to Steven Werner and Eliza Wheatley!
