A reminder to the Classes of 2024 and 2025. Time is running out! The National Honor Society Application is live for a few more days, and information has been shared with you and your families via your STJlabs email before the break. Completed applications must be submitted by January 20th to be eligible for induction this year. See Mrs. Reed in Guidance with any questions!

Inspiring Girls Expeditions organizes 2-week wilderness trips that merge field science, art, and backcountry travel.  Applications to participate are being accepted until January 30. Opportunities are open to cisgender girls and transgender, agender, Two Spirit, nonbinary, intersex, and genderqueer youth ages 16-18. Expeditions will be in places like the Canadian Arctic Circle, Alaska, western US mountains ranges, and mountainous regions in Europe and New Zealand. Contact Mr. Eckel at his STJ labs email or stop by Streeter 241 for links and information. 

Brain Bee has an essential meeting today at 3:30 in Streeter 241. We are completing preparations to go to UVM on Saturday.  

Science Olympiad is meeting Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday this week in Streeter 241 from 3:30-4:30. If you do not attend Wednesday, you may not be able to go to the Harvard tournament on February 4.

Over break the Indoor Track and Field teams were busy with meets at UVM, Norwich, and in Boston and Providence, RI. Currently, Andrew Thornton-Sherman leads the state in the 1000m and all 3 relays, Brooke White has the top weight throw and the fastest 600m time in Division 1 and Diego Perez leads Division 1 in the weight throw.
