The Athletics Department will host the Winter Meet the Coaches event tonight at 6 pm in Alumni Gym. Following general introductions, team meetings will be held in Alumni Gym and the Morse Center. Winter practices/tryouts will begin November 28.
Attention International Students — The registration deadline for the Dec 10th TOEFL is November 17th at noon. Any student needing to take the December 10th TOEFL should stop by the Guidance Office to register with Mrs. McCaffrey.
Any athletes looking to play girls’ lacrosse this spring should go to the Conference Room of the second floor of the Library this Thursday, November 17th, at 3:15pm. This meeting will take place from 3:15-3:30 and is for athletes who will be both in or out-of-season this winter. If you cannot make this meeting, please find Coach Sandvil or Coach Giddings.
The Math Team will meet tomorrow, Wednesday, for the AMC 10/12 contest in Severance 15 at 3:45pm. All students are welcome to join us. The AMC 10/12 is an internationally recognized exam leading to the International Mathematical Olympiad. The exam is 25 multiple-choice questions and up to 75 minutes in length.

Model UN members are asked to meet with Mr. Ehrean today during conference period in Ranger 115. Our country assignments are in, and today is the best day to determine who will represent which countries. See you this afternoon!
Attention Juniors, tomorrow, Wednesday the 16th is the final day to deliver your wreath order forms and money to the Guidance Office. Make sure you have collected all the money for your individual orders. Please bring your packets to Ms. Carr before the end of the day on Wednesday. If anyone on campus is still interested in purchasing a wreath, find a junior today or stop into the Guidance Office and place an order with Ms. Carr.

The Academy girls completed their cross country season at the New England Championship this past Saturday with another strong performance despite an unseasonably warm day. The girls beat Burlington to finish fifth among the Vermont schools and 27th in New England. Ava Purdy and Siri Jolliffe led the Hilltoppers, with Bennett Crance close on their heels. 9th grader Macy Moore and Sophomore Lily Laskowski finished out the scoring for the girls, and Jasmine Engle and Peyton Qualter had strong runs on the warm, 72 degree afternoon. The girls would like to thank their fans for their support this season and look forward to an even more successful 2023 XC campaign.
On Saturday at the New England XC Championships, the boys were led by Andrew Thornton-Sherman’s 30th place (despite running most of the race without a shoe). Carson Eames , Nathan Lenzini, Charlie Krebs, Nathaniel Bernier, Ari Leven and Isaac Lenzini raced to an 8th place team finish.. This is the highest placing ever for the Academy at this level. The meet, held at Ponaganset High School in RI, fielded the top 6 teams from the New England States. and over 260 competitors.
