Attention Class of 2025: The results of yesterday’s runoff election are in. Congratulations to new Freshman Class Secretary Andrew Thornton-Sherman and our new Class President Kaya Kendall! Thank you to all of the candidates who ran for office.

 

All dorm students who will be participating in the Thanksgiving Break trip to Boston, you will have a meeting after school on Wednesday at 3:30pm in Fuller Hall with Mr. Robillard. If you are unable to attend, you must see Mr. Robillard prior to the meeting.

 

Attention all skiers and boarders! Burke Mountain season passes are now available for purchase. Applications are available in the Business Office, or you may email Mrs. Greenwood at jgreenwood@stjacademy.org to request the form. 

 

Attention International Students — Any student wanting to take the December 4th TOEFL — the registration deadline is November 19. Email Mrs. McCaffrey at mmccaffrey@stjlabs.com to register and with any questions. 

 

Calling all College Bound Hilltoppers! The following college has a visit today: Norwich University at 1pm in the Colby Conf. Room. Be sure to sign up for their visits on Naviance and to view all details. If you are scheduled to be in class during the time of the visit, please check in with your teacher before coming to the college visit. You are also required to return to class after the completion of the visit, attendance is turned into the main office.

 

There will be an Army Recruiter on campus tomorrow for any interested Junior or Senior.

 

Seniors — do you have a Nov. 15th college application deadline? If so, be sure to stop by the Guidance Office ASAP!

Academy Theatre will meet today after school in the Black box from 3:30-4:30pm.

 

Attention Tennis Club — we will meet today in the Field House from 3:45 to 4:45 pm. Please make sure to arrive on time.  If you have any questions, please contact Dr. Sayarath. 

 

Tech Strom, Robotics Club will be meeting today in Streeter 230 starting at 3:45. Feel free to stop by and come see the robot, and learn how to build another.

 

SCOPE will meet today at 3:30 in Mrs. Begin’s room, Ranger 208. 

 

Come join the Outing Club as we rock out in the coolest indoor rock-climbing gym around! This is for dorm students and day students, and at no cost at all for participants. Go to Campus Life to sign up and see Mr. Holden or Mr. Weiss with any questions. The bus leaves Brantview Drive on Wednesday at 3:30!

 

This week, Salsa Steps will meet after conference period on Wednesday in Newell Hall 25. Juanita will be assisting! Please join us as we explore more salsa and other steps. Come get a little exercise and have fun dancing!!

 

Don’t forget to sign up your indoor soccer team of 5 people in campus life! The tournament will start at 2pm Friday with a cash prize to the winners. This is another great event to help support the local food shelf.
