Welcome to Spirit Week! Tomorrow will be Wear Your Team Jersey Day! Whether representing an SJA sports team, club, or activity, or your favorite team outside of SJA – show your school spirit by wearing a team jersey with dress code appropriate bottoms! Thursday will be Class Theme Day. Please remember that face masks are not acceptable, but face make up is ok!  Friday will be a Green and White Variety Day, which means you can dress down, but must be wearing green and white, too!

The Senior Class has the finalists to be elected to the Spirit Week Spirit Squad. On Thursday, you will have a chance to vote for two people who you believe are the best representatives of school spirit. You will receive a ballot in your stjlabs account on Thursday morning during advisory for you to choose among: Kennedy Green‑Hawkins, Carson Clark, Ashley Fox, Maddie Hurlbert, Murphy Young, Will Fowler, Courtney Lewis, Adriana Lemieux, James Lamontagne, and McKenna Brochu. If you see any of these nominees, talk to them about why they have the school spirit it takes to be a leader in the Spirit Squad!

Yes, there’s bowling today! We will leave from Brantview Drive at 3:45 pm. Mr. Camelio’s Joke of the Week: This one is for you Mac!  Why did the crows cross the road? Answer: I don’t know, it’s a murder mystery.

Attention 9th Graders: Float design and construction continues this afternoon in the truck shop. We have a winning design- it’s time to execute it. Bring your royal selves (and a courtly friend) to the truck shop this afternoon at 3:30. Come for the float; stay for the folks.

Calling all Sophomores, Friday night frights and the Class of 2024 float is rolling after a great planning meeting yesterday. Come to the Streeter Truck Shop Lower level of Streeter Hall today after school to start putting the plan into action. We need all hands on deck from 3:30 until 5 to deliver a frightfully awesome float.  See you today at 3:30 in the Truck Shop.

Greetings Class of 2023! If you haven’t already heard, it’s official- the junior theme this year is “Scare-ify LI” (playing on Monsters Inc.). Given the central theme of doors in the film this should work well for advisory door decorating and make good material for the float. Anyone interested in helping out with float design and construction, please come to Morse 202 (The art building!) from 3:30-5:00 today… and bring a friend!

Got the Spirit?!? Yeah? Well then get your spirit pompoms today to help celebrate! The cheerleaders will be selling spirit pompoms for $1.00 each starting today through Friday.

There has been a recent increase in BLS cases across the country in recent months. There appears to be no obvious justification for the rise in numbers. Here at St. Johnsbury Academy, we can do our part to raise awareness and end BLS once and for all, because once a school gets Bonfire Lameness Syndrome, the reputation sticks. Please bring cardboard to the trailer that will be parked on Brantview Drive starting on Wednesday to prevent the onset of a lame bonfire.

If you found a pair of AirPods with a black silicone case, please return them to the Main Office.
