College Bound Seniors and Juniors—a friendly reminder that the following college is holding a virtual visit today—The University of Arizona at 4:30pm. Visit your Naviance Account for the Virtual Link.

 

“Scholarship Spotlight”—United Motorcyclist of VT valued at $500—this is award is presented to several graduating seniors based on membership, community service and involvement, application effort, school involvement and grades, financial need, and other considerations. A special Happy Birthday today to Charlotte Ng from her Cramton family, and a special Happy Birthday to Ms. Choiniere from the Girls Varsity Basketball team!

 

Varsity Girls Basketball lost to Rice, 43-29, and the JV team lost, 25-20.

 

Juniors Lizzy Jones and Anna Cushing lead the gymnastics team in their win against the Milton Yellow jackets on Saturday, March 6th. Jones placed in the top three spots on all four events and earned top honors in the all-around with Cushing taking 3rd on vault and bars, and second on the floor exercise and all around.

 

The St. Johnsbury Boys Nordic team competed in the State Meet on Monday- a 4km classic race followed by a 4km skate race an hour later. The team placed 8th overall out of the D1 teams. Luke Chadderdon led the boys in the classic race, placing 21st out of 89 skiers. In the skate race, Nick Reed led the team, placing 23rd. Congratulations to Luke Chadderdon and Tommy Vaal, as yesterday was their final high school Nordic ski race!
