Green Day

Attention seniors, please report to Fuller and sit in your chapel seats for tomorrow’s morning advisory. Please be on time as we will be practicing our senior song.

Students taking AP African American Studies next year should pick up their summer reading in the Main Office after exams.

Students who are signed up to take AP European History next year, should see Mr. Ehrean regarding your summer assignments. You can find him during conference period in Ranger 115. Otherwise, he can be found in the Colwell Center.

If you plan to take the September 5 TOEFL, you must pre-register by Friday, May 22 at 12:00pm. See Mrs. McCaffrey in Colby 106 to sign up and with questions.

Today, the members of the Advanced Creative Writing classes will be sharing excerpts from their completed manuscripts at the library fireside during C and E blocks. C block will meet after first lunch. All are welcome to come along to celebrate this accomplishment and hear some great stories and excerpts from novels. You might even get to hear part of a pilot TV show, too!

Picture this: you just finished sports practice or your dinner at the dining hall or you find yourself at the deli with brain fog and a lukewarm Gatorade. Suddenly you remember, there is a place that is calling your name. It is a dark, air-conditioned room called the Black Box, and it is full of belly laughs and tears of joy. That’s right, you say, I can go watch the Improv Club tonight. And you can – 5:30pm in the Black Box Theatre. Bring your friends, your family, your uncles and enemies, and come enjoy an hour of ridiculous fun and creativity. See you there!

For those interested in playing Girls Soccer next fall, there will be a quick meeting right after school on Wednesday in Ms. Kramer’s classroom (Severance 23). If you’re unable to make the meeting, feel free to stop by her room at any point before then.

Chef Hale’s beloved purple bicycle was taken yesterday from the South Church around 1:00pm. It is more than just a bicycle to him. If you saw anything or anyone around the South Church at that time, please see Chef Hale or Mr. Bickford.

The winner of the riddle bulletin board is Mr. Keffer, and the correct answer was “Advice”. The winner of the Guess That Hilltopper Board is Ms. Kendall and the correct answer was Ms. Meunier. Come to Student Life to claim a prize!

Happy Spring, everyone! We hope you’ve been enjoying the nice weather these past few days. Before you leave Chapel, make sure to check under your seat for a hidden bee or flower. If you find one, bring it to Student Life to claim your prize. Good luck!

Happy Birthday today to Kayden Quintin, Jenesy Zwart, and Maria Baker!
