If you are interested in a rigorous and authentic summer research opportunity, consider applying for the New Hampshire Academy of Science’s Applied Scientific Research program. You will be mentored by professional scientists and have access to modern laboratory and field data collection tools. Past SJA graduates of this program have won state science fairs, extended their summer research into capstone projects, and presented their findings nationally on topics like toxicology in model organisms or using drones for ecological surveys.
