Hello, Ireland travelers! In 89 days, we’ll be in Ireland, and tomorrow, we’ll be in Newell 27 at 3pm for a trip meeting! See you little leprechauns there!

Don’t forget to sign up for the Outing Club’s first ice climbing trip of the year this Sunday! Sign up in Student Life or see Mr. Holden for details.

With only 11 girls competing in the State Meet, the Girls Indoor Track Team finished 3rd, only one point off from being 2nd. They were led by Sydney Schoenbeck who won the 55-meter hurdles and the 600 meters and also got 2nd in both the long and high jump scoring a total of 36 points, and qualifying for New England’s. Kathryn Zajko finished second in the weight throw with a mark of 9.45m. Josephine Royer finished 5th in the weight throw with a mark of 8.48m, and also finished 6th in shot put with a mark of 8.35m. The Girls 4×200 (Faith Lawton, Leilah Santiago, Deedra Roy, Giuliana Tizzoni) finished 3rd with a time of 1:58.45, qualifying them for New England’s. Bailey Qualter finished 5th in the 55 meter hurdles with a personal best with a time of 9.86. Leilah Santiago finished 6th in the long jump with a personal best of 4.60m. Faith Lawton finished 3rd in the 55 meter hurdles with a time of 9.65, and finished 6th in 300 meters with a time of 47.28, improving almost a second from her previous personal best. With not a lot of depth on the team, these girls fought hard and did all they could to try to get in the top 2. They certainly deserve to be recognized for the effort they put in, and I am proud of what they accomplished this weekend.

Happy Birthday today to Abigail Badore and Benjamin Hinton!
