Contest One of the New England Math League is taking place on the morning of October 14th from 7:50 to 8:20am in Mayo Lounge. An email to sign up was sent to your student accounts. Last year, STJ was the top scoring Vermont school and to win again we want as many people as possible to participate! Please see or email Mr. Badgley with questions.
The SAT Math Prep X-block will be meeting Wednesday from 6 to 8pm in Mrs. Gould’s room, SV25. Come learn how to use DESMOS to answer many of the SAT math questions while reviewing some Geometry & Trigonometry. This could make all the difference as you prepare for the PSAT or SAT school-testing day next week. That’s SAT math prep, Wednesday from 6-8pm in SV25 (enter through the door at the south end of Severance near the Headmaster’s house).
Any international student needing to take the November 1st TOEFL must register with Mrs. McCaffrey, in Colby 106, no later than Wednesday, October 8.

JV-A Boys Soccer lost to Burlington, 2-1, yesterday afternoon.
JV Field Hockey had a hard-fought tie against Spaulding, led by a dominant strong team effort all around. The goal was scored by Claire Trojano and Layla McGarvin had a strong game in goal turning away 5 shots.
Varsity Volleyball lost to Rice in 4 sets last night. They started out strong winning the first set 25-16, but fell short in the last three sets. JV Volleyball, after being down by 8 points, came together and pulled off a win in both sets.
