An Irish blessing for you: may the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, and may all who are interested attend the Ireland trip meeting tomorrow, Wednesday, April 9th, at 3pm in Ms. Smith’s classroom, Newell Hall 27, on the 2nd floor of Newell. If you have another commitment, please see or email Ms. Smith by Wednesday. Again, Wednesday at 3pm, April ’26 Ireland trip interest meeting, Newell 27. If you’re not sure where to go, follow the rainbows and Irish music!

Those interested in learning more about the Germany-Prague trip next April should come to the meeting in the band room at 3:10 today. Those who cannot attend, please see Mr. Rowe or Ms. Morris.

St. Johnsbury Academy is pleased to announce a scholarship opportunity for students wishing to go on one of next year’s Academy-sponsored international trips. Three Academy students will win a scholarship that covers all the expenses (except spending money) of the trip of their choice. This competitive scholarship is not for everyone, only for current sophomores and juniors whose families wouldn’t be able to afford to send their student. If that’s you, please get an application from Mr. Ehrean or Mrs. Laura Gary. The application is not complicated; you and a parent or guardian must sign a document, and you must write a short essay. The due date for the complete application is May 2. If going to Peru, Italy, Ireland, Ghana, Germany, or India is a dream of yours, take a chance and apply for this scholarship.

Do you like Metallica? Van Halen? Iron Maiden? If yes, then come down to Fuller Hall from 7:00 – 8:30pm on Friday night for an hour and a half of rock and roll, thrash, and heavy metal. This epic night features two local student bands who love playing thrash and heavy metal. The concert is free for all ages!  Look for the posters around campus for more information.

Happy Birthday today to Payton Cochran, Jacob Emerson, Sarah Roy, and Pablo Salazar de Leon!
