State Testing/Late Start Schedule

3/17 — 3/18/25: All VT 11th Graders, this includes resident students from VT. We will follow the Delayed Opening Schedule (No Chapel – Students directly to A Block):

A Block – 10:00 – 10:40am

B Block – 10:50- 11:30am

C Block – 11:40- 1:20pm

D Block – 1:30 – 2:10pm

E Block – 2:20- 3:00pm

Conf. Period – 3:10- 3:30pm

Fun Blood Donation Fact: Donating one pint of blood burns an estimated 650 calories as your body works to replace the lost blood components. Why go for run when you can donate blood? Only 2 days left to sign up to donate blood during the Blood Drive this Thursday. See Mrs. McCaffrey in Colby 106 to make your appointment.

Don’t miss the Spring Fling Semi-Formal dance, this Friday, 3/21, from 7:30-10:30pm in the Alumni Gym! $5/pair or $3/person. Register guests in Student Life by tomorrow! 

Softball pitchers and catchers — please plan to meet in the Alumni Gym from 6:30-7:30 tonight and Thursday night. The time for Friday will be announced soon!

Baseball pitchers and catchers continues today from 5:00–6:30 in the Field House. Bring your glove, a hat, indoor sneakers, and your baseball pants. See you there!

Houston Ballet II will be performing Sunday, March 30th at 7pm at Lyndon Institute Auditorium. This is a stellar young ballet company performing classic ballets as well as contemporary works by major international choreographers. Student tickets are free! The Dance Dept is able to offer faculty, staff, and parent tickets at a discounted rate of $20 per ticket. All interested faculty, staff, parents can reserve their tickets online.
