White Day

All 9th grade health classes this semester will meet in South Church for Health Class today.

Seniors — please report to the South Church for advisory tomorrow, instead of your advisory locations, for a Senior Class meeting.

If you are interested in running for Student Government, please pick up a petition from your Class Dean. Petitions are due Friday to get your name on the ballot for next week’s election. See Mr. Ryan with any questions.

There will be a National Guard recruiter visit today at 9:30 in the C101 conference space. Be sure to check in with your teacher before attending.

Take a trip to paradise! Join us for the last dance of the year — it’s tropical themed, so wear your brightest beach colors! This Friday, May 10th, 8:00-10:30pm in the Mayo Center Lobby & on Stowe Green. $3 solo or $5 per couple. In addition to dancing and outdoor games, there will be tropical snacks (made by Chef B and her team!) available for purchase. Doors will close at 9:00pm. Please register any non-SJA guests in the Student Life office by Thursday.

Check out the summer job postings on the screen outside the Guidance Office in Colby and outside Mr. Guckin’s office in Streeter. Any questions, stop by Mr. Carr’s office in Streeter 132 or email him.

Tomorrow, Book Club is hosting an outing to this month’s poetry potluck. You are encouraged to bring something to read, but listening is just as important! We will walk downtown from the library at 6:50. If you are interested in joining us, please reach out to Mr. Demsky for more information. We hope to see you there!

A reminder that this Thursday is the 3 vs. 3 basketball tournament to raise funds for the NEKCA Homeless Shelter as part of Natalie Esposito’s capstone. The cost is $15.00, which will be collected on Thursday, and the deadline to sign up teams is tomorrow at 3pm. Email Natalie today to sign up your team!

Happy Birthday today to Elise D’Ambra, Jacklyn Kaufman, Cody McElroy, Michael Millett, Ayumi Suzuki, and a special Happy Birthday to Anissa Serrano from her friends!

All HOBY representatives and Scholastic Art Award winners, including any 9th grade winners, need to meet Mr. Legge on the front steps of Fuller immediately after Chapel for a photo. Please don’t forget!
