White Day / VCAP Testing Day; Delayed Opening Schedule

It’s here! It’s finally here! The day we have all been waiting for! Have you ever dreamed of being given 1 million dollars!? Me too! Have you ever thought about what you would do with that million dollars? Well, I would go to the Spring Talent Show this Friday, April 14th at 7pm in Fuller Hall. Tickets are only $2 for students and $5 for adults, so after the show I would still have $999,998 left! What a deal! Doors open at 6:30. See you all there!

Attention International Students — Any student wanting to take the May 13th TOEFL must register by Thursday, April 20th. A link to register for the May TOEFL has been sent to your stjlabs email. See Mrs. McCaffrey in the Guidance Office with any questions.

The Meditation Club is open to all this afternoon in NH10. Come on over at 3:30 to relax and breathe a little. We welcome new practitioners. If you have questions, see Ms. Greenstone or Ms. Woods.

Writers’ Block will meet in Ranger 110 today for writing time and cookies. We’ll be working on creating articles for the New York Times student editorial contest, due on April 19. Come share your opinion and write about an issue that matters to you!  All are welcome.

Spring has sprung and due to this incredibly warm weather, the Outing Club will open up the SJA climbing wall for some afternoon fun today! Come over and take some laps up the wall while enjoying some beautiful sun! No experience is necessary, and all are welcome. The wall will be open from 3:30 to 4:30. Dare to explore.

Mrs. Prevost’s Photography II students invite you to view their Theme Projects, now on view in the first floor Ranger Hallway.

What do Rice Krispie treats, raspberry bars, peanut butter cookies, and chocolate covered Oreos have in common? They will all be available after school in front of the library today at the Intro to Human Service’s class bake sale, with all funds going towards the toiletry drive for youth in foster care. Everything for just $1!  Bring a friend and enjoy a treat for a good cause and be sure to say who your advisor is to be in the running for thank you gift!

Kiwanis is looking for lifeguards and swim teachers for the summer. New to this? We will help with the cost to get certified. Former guards and swim teachers from any swim area are strongly encouraged to apply as well. We will help with any cost for re-certification, too. Interested? Contact Ms. Meranze in C206 or at her stjlabs email.

Happy Birthday today to Paul LaTorraca!
