White Day

Sophomores — a reminder to report directly to Fuller Hall for advisory today for your meeting with Guidance. Attendance will be taken, so please be sure to sit with your advisory.

Good morning, everyone! Here are a few friendly reminders from Student Life about being respectful of others.

First, please sit and enjoy the time with your friends in the Streeter Beach area if you have a free block, but do not lay down on the couches. Plates and food from the dining hall are still not allowed in the Beach area.

Second, please be respectful of the classes that are in progress on the second floor of Streeter at all times, but mostly during C block. Those teachers should not have to stop their classes and speak with groups of students in the hallway about being too loud.

Today is the final day to get your floor hockey team signed up! Stop by Student Life as soon as possible. Music and floor hockey, what more could you want on a Friday afternoon.

If you like working outdoors and are looking for a summer job, stop by Mr. Carr’s office in Streeter 132 to get information on some local job opportunities.

Science Olympiad meets today in Streeter 241. Bring your event preparation materials.

This is your last chance to enter the Historical Fiction Contest! Stop by the display cases on the 2nd floor of Ranger Breezeway and see if you can identify your teacher’s favorite Historical Fiction. All entries must be submitted today by 3:30 to be entered into the drawing to win a gift card!

Anyone interested in tech for the spring musical, please plan to meet most school days at 4:00pm in the Stagecraft room next to the Black Box Theatre. Please be sure to check Canvas as well.

Math Club will be running another session of the 1st round of the MathCon exam today after school from 3:30-4:30pm in Severance 15. Bring your Chromebooks, laptops, or tablets as this is a computer-based exam. Mr. Kinsella and Mr. Stapleford look forward to seeing you all for MathCon 2023, today in Severance @3:45pm. Be there or be squared!

Congratulations to Greer Kennedy, who rocked it in the state Poetry Out Loud semi-finals!  Greer will be participating in the state final competition in Burlington at the Flynn Center next Thursday. We are planning to fill another fan bus, so if you would like to come, please pick up a permission slip from Mrs. Mackenzie in Ranger 110. The trip will depart promptly after D block and return by 9pm.

Good Luck to Andrew Bugbee, Jaden Beardsley, Gerardo Fernendez, Andrew Thornton-Sherman, Carson Eames and Nathaniel Bernier as they compete in the New Balance Nationals. The Sprint Medley Relay is today at 4:55. Saturday Andrew runs the 800 at 6:15, and the 4×800 relay is Sunday at 3:18. The Championships will be livestreamed on Runnerspace.com.
