Green Day
There will be drilling today around the Field House, including on the north side of the building near the Morse Center. While drilling is taking place, the north entrance to the Field House will not be accessible. For your safety and for the respect of the workers, you will need to use the main entrance of the Field House near the parking lot today.
Tomorrow will be a Variety Day to support the earthquake recovery efforts in Turkey. The cost is $1.00. Dress down and show support for those who need it the most!
Today is the deadline to register for the SAT exam happening on March 22nd. Please stop by the Guidance Office with questions.
Come join the Outing Club this afternoon as we travel to North Country Climbing Center for some forearm blasting, back shredding, and mind-blowing exercise at their indoor rock gym. We will leave Brantview Drive at 3:40 and return by 5:30. Dare to explore.
A new dungeon has been discovered in a faraway land only accessible on Thursdays in the dining hall. That’s right, a new campaign is available at Dungeons and Dragons Club, but this time you won’t live to see the next session, and there are no long-term obligations. The dungeon will be open today! There will be five openings each week, so email Mr. O’Brien to reserve your spot or Simon Robertson for more information.
Don’t forget — the Outing Club is taking you outside for some ice this Saturday, the 18th! You must see Mr. Weiss for permission slips and boot sizing, so get yourself to Colby 209 ASAP to secure a spot on the trip. No experience necessary, and all gear will be provided. Let’s get after it!
Take some time for yourself and learn how to manage stress. We invite you to come learn about meditation, breathing and developing patterns to keep the stress away. We offer a quiet space and gentle teaching. Please, join us in The Meditation Club on Thursdays in Newell Hall 10 at 3:30 after Conference Period.
Hello Hilltoppers! An important announcement from the Make it Better Club: The Recharge Room in the library is finally here! Look for the signs that guide you to the space and how to use it. Remember: the space is for individual use when you feel stressed and need a break — no groups, please! Use it for only 10-15 mins, clean up after yourself, and please put away the screens. Most importantly, de-stress and feel better! Because this space is self-managed by all of us, we appreciate your efforts and hope that this will be a great addition to how we support strong mental health at St J.
Happy Birthday today to James Hatch!
