Green Day

Today is make-up photo day! Please be sure to stop and see Mr. Legge at the Fuller Hall stage from 8:30-3:30pm if you did not have your school photo taken in the fall or if you are new this semester!

Second Semester Meet the Teachers Night is tonight starting at 6:30pm in Fuller Hall! If your family plans to attend and needs a copy of your schedule, please stop by the Headmaster’s Office to grab a copy.

Student Government will meet tomorrow morning at 7:20 in Fuller Basement.

Attention Sophomores — Everyone loves sweatpants, and a long-sleeve 2025 t-shirt is the right choice for a little more warmth on a cold day. Remember: tomorrow is your last day to submit your 2025 Gear order into Mr. Dussault in Colby 202. Get your orders in now!

Seniors — tomorrow is the deadline for your senior superlative nominations! Submit your survey today!

Attention all those interested in getting out with the Outing Club. Whether you are new to the club, or have been out climbing a dozen times, come hang out with the Outing Club this Thursday at 3:25 right after CP. We are going to meet in Ranger 215, get to know new members, and then practice winter camping and survival skills by constructing an igloo and snow kitchen on campus. Make sure to bring boots, warm gear (hats, gloves, and jacket), and a shovel if you have one! Please see Mr. Demsky in Ranger 215 with any questions.

Just a reminder from the Make it Better Club that the Valentine’s Day cards for the Agency on Aging are due tomorrow. Please leave them in the faculty room for pick up. Thank you for your support with this project that will warm hearts in mid-February’s cold weather!

Attention all Athletes: If you are not currently in a sport and want to get faster and stronger, as well as prepare for your next upcoming season, off-season weight training will be held every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday starting on Monday! Coach Becker will train with Boys’ from 3:30-4:15 and Girls’ from 4:15-5:00. On Wednesdays, all genders are welcomed from 5:00-6:00. See you there!

Attention students: If you are interested in learning more about weightlifting or how to better your form and technique, there will be a Weightlifting Club every Wednesday from 3:45- 5:00 starting on February 8th. All are welcome!

Writers’ Block will meet today in Ranger 110 for writing time, tea, and cookies. All are welcome!

The VPA Indoor Track Championships will take place this Saturday at 2:30 pm. The University of Vermont will be hosting. Tickets must be purchased online through GoFan.com or visit the Athletic Office for the QR code. Good luck to our Hilltoppers!

Asian Cultural Club meets today from 3:30-4:30 in Ms. Davis’s room, Streeter 255. We will first disassemble the dragon and bring it back to Mr. Ehrean. Then, we will be learning the process of making dumplings. Next week, we are planning to make dumplings in the kitchen. If you wish to participate, please stop by Ms. Davis’s room and sign up on the sign-up sheet starting on this Friday. Looking forward to seeing everyone there!

This week’s GMO of the Month is Rubber Chicken. A wonderful synthesis of a naturally sourced plant and genetically modified elements. While hard to cut, it is quite chewy. When smoked for several hours it becomes vulcanized with a BBQ like flavor with hints of cobalt, aluminum, and mercury. One serving will fill your stomach for decades to come. Please join us in paying respect to Rubber Chicken at next Friday’s Ultimate Rubber Chicken Winter Carnival Event.

Attention fashionistas: If it is the rage in Paris, it is fashionable here. Are we talking bright colors? No. Are we talking mixing stripes with paisley? No.  Are we talking silk bordered by wool? No. The hottest trend in fashion is making designer clothing from materials found in the recycling bin behind Streeter. Become a runway legend at next Friday’s Winter Carnival Recycled Material Fashion Show. If you want to win… you better work!

Don’t think we forgot — here is Mr. Camelio’s Joke of the Week: What do you get when you cross a vampire with a snowman?… Frostbite! Be careful out in the cold temperatures this weekend!

Happy Birthday today to Kaelen Glentz Brush, Gavin Maney, Haden McLaughlin, Zachary Poole, Ricardo Salinas Valencia, and Franceliz Torres!

Kingdom Blades beat Brattleboro, 6-0.
