A reminder that tomorrow will be a Variety Day to end our Week of Giving! The cost is $1.00, and all proceeds will be donated with the non-perishable food items to the local food shelf. Thank you SJA for helping to make this Thanksgiving special for all in our community!  

 

Student Government will meet today at 3:10 in the Mayo Lounge. Please see Mr. Ryan or Rory with any questions or conflicts.

 

All resident students who are going on the Thanksgiving Break trip to Boston, there will be a mandatory meeting today after school at 3:30pm in ResLife with Mr. Robillard. Please plan to be there.

 

Attention International Students — The registration deadline for the Dec 10th TOEFL is today at noon. Any student needing to take the December 10th TOEFL should stop by the Guidance Office no later than noon to register with Mrs. McCaffrey.

 

The Giving Tree tags are here! Stop by the bulletin board in the first floor Ranger breezeway to take a tag. Purchase one of the gifts on the wish list and return the unwrapped gift to C303 by Friday 12/2. Gifts range from $10-25 and are for people in our local community. If you have any questions, find Mrs. Scavitto. Thanks for your generosity! 

 

A reminder to students going to see Clue tonight or tomorrow night — please be sure to get your tickets online or have cash to pay at the door. Tickets can be purchased on Catamount Arts website or at the door.

 

Any athletes looking to play girls’ lacrosse this spring should go to the Library Media Room today after school at 3:15pm. This is a 15-minute meeting to discuss the upcoming season. It is for athletes who are both in or out-of-season this winter. If you cannot make this meeting, please talk to Coach Sandvil or Coach Giddings.

 

Knitting club will be held this afternoon from 3:45-4:45 in Severance 16. We have all the supplies and expertise you need to start a new project or finish an old one.

 

Come to Writer’s Block today in Ranger 110 at 3:30 for tea and writing time. All are welcome!

 

The Forest/ Holcombe advisory thanks you for helping to raise $945.67 for VT Supports. The advisory challenge of collecting goods and cards to create care packages for deployed troops continues. The Meunier advisory is currently in the lead. Please drop your donations by Streeter 256 by 12/1! Thank you all for helping to reach the goal of 600 care packages!!!

Congratulations to the following Varsity Girls Soccer players:

 

Lily Gary-Wright was selected to the Girl’s All-State Team. Lily Gary-Wright and Emily Kostruba were selected to First Team All-Metro.  Hannah Amadon, Maren Nitsche, and Brooklyn Choiniere were selected to Second Team All-Metro, and Sophia Shippe, Kaylee McCaffrey, Maggie Zschau, and Ella Switser received Honorable mention in the All-Metro selections.
