Come join the Outing Club this coming Sunday, Oct. 10th as we go on our second to last rock-climbing trip of the year.  Don’t miss out on this opportunity to see the Northeast Kingdom in all its Fall glory.  No experience is necessary, and the trip is free to Academy students.  All you need to bring is a positive attitude and a willingness to try something new.  See Mr. Holden or Mr. Weiss for details and get your permission slips from Campus Life.  Remember, there is no school tomorrow, so today is the last day to get permission slips!  There will also be a mandatory meeting today, right after school, in Mr. Weiss’ room for anyone attending.

To all hockey players and skaters – LAYHA – the local youth hockey organization – is looking to recruit new referees for its youth games at the 10U and perhaps 12U level. LAYHA would help pay for the costs to register and receive your certification and in turn provide an opportunity to work off any volunteer hours you may be required to complete for school. Once your volunteer hours are complete refereeing could become a great part-time weekend job. If interested, please contact Andrew McGregor at LAYHA – contact information is available from Mr. Lenzini.

Happy Birthday today to Leanne Covey!  Happy Birthday tomorrow to Sebastian Najri Saladin and Ciara Zambernardi, on Sunday to Emmett Cusson, and on Monday to Levi Lumbra, Makenna Emmons, Tristan Plante, and Taishiro Yamaoka.  A special Happy Birthday on Saturday to Bella Lin from her advisory, and to Taryn Trombley from her advisory!
