Tomorrow there will be a Variety Day benefiting the Alzheimer’s Association. The cost will be $1.00, but anything more is greatly appreciated. The money raised will be donated on behalf of the SJA team. In the United States, someone develops Alzheimer’s every 65 seconds. The Alzheimer’s Association leads the way to end Alzheimer’s and all other dementia. Many people in this room know at least one person suffering from Alzheimer’s. This year’s Northeast Kingdom Walk to End Alzheimer’s will be Sunday, September 22nd, beginning at 9:30am at the St. Johnsbury Welcome Center. See Mrs. McCaffrey in Colby 106 if you would like to join the SJA Team to raise funds and walk for this worthy cause.
Boogie Down this Saturday, 8-11pm, at the Senior White Out Dance in the Black Box. The cost is $3 per person or $5 for two people. Doors close at 9:00. Register any non-Academy guests at the Student Life Office by the end of school today.
Student Gov will meet today right after school in Fuller Basement. Please contact Mr. Ryan with any questions or conflicts.

Attention all students! If you’re interested in helping to develop and run engaging sustainability workshops for local middle school students at a conference in late October, join us for a meeting on Monday, 9/16 during CP in Streeter 240. This is a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate leadership skills, make a difference in our local community, and amplify student voice and agency. If you have any questions or can’t make the meeting but are still interested, please contact Mrs. Jess Angell.
