Barcelona trip meetings today — Student info session @ 2:45pm after school in Colby 302 and parent info session @ 6:00pm in Colwell Center in the library basement! Please reach out to Mr. Cushman or Ms. Sandvil if you cannot attend or with any questions.
This is a reminder that Trivia Night will return to SJA from 6 to 8pm in the library next Thursday. Teams and individuals can sign up using the QR code on the posters around campus or by stopping by Mr. O’Brien’s office in Streeter 266. Snacks and drinks will be available for sale. Come have fun and flex those trivia muscles!

This March, St. Johnsbury Academy Latin students participated in the annual National Latin Exam competition and seven of those students won awards! In Latin I, Willow Deem and Ruby Tillotson both earned Cum Laude certificates for their papers; and Orleans Germond won a Magna Cum Laude certificate. Medalists from the Latin I contestants: Nathalia Martinez Sanchez won a Maxima Cum Laude certificate and a silver medal; and Ivy Pavick won a Summa Cum Laude certificate and a gold medal for her nearly perfect paper. From the Latin Prose contestants, Lennon Daffinrud earned a Magna Cum Laude certificate and Sophia Montague won a silver medal for her Maxima Cum Laude contest paper. The winning contestants should please go to C309 immediately after Chapel to receive their prizes and have their photo taken. Congratulations, Latin students!
Girls Lacrosse had a tough loss against Colchester on Tuesday night, losing 17-15 in the last two minutes. Meredith Rogers scored 5 goals, Devlin Murphy — 4 goals, and Bennet Crance — 3 goals.
Boys Ultimate lost to Montpelier, 15-1. The goal for the Hilltoppers was scored by Dylan Lacasse, assisted by Linden Van der Linde. The JV team was also defeated by Montpelier, 12-7.
The boys’ varsity tennis team secured a fantastic victory against South Burlington with a score of 4-3. Andres Barrios Sobrino, the #1 player, led the charge with a strong win in both sets. Raphael Link at #2 showcased resilience with a thrilling tiebreaker victory.
The Unified Basketball team played their best game of the season on Tuesday. They traveled and played the defending state champions, Burlington High School, and won 36-33 ending their regular season campaign with a 4-3-1 record. Justin Langmaid led the rebounding effort and scored 12 points, Hannah Albright had 8 points and 3 steals, Aaron Sol Cruz scored a bucket and Matt Calcagni had a career high 14 points.
