Students who drive to campus — please note that our security team has started issuing courtesy tickets to those who still do not have a parking pass on your vehicle. If you receive a ticket, please see Ms. Bimson in the Main Office to return the ticket and pick up a parking permit application. Multiple infractions could lead to the loss of your ability to park on campus.
Join us for the “Old Hollywood” semi-formal in the Dining Hall this Friday at 7pm. Doors close at 8pm. Cost is $3/person. If you are interested in bringing a non-Academy guest, you must sign them up in the Student Life Office by the end of business today.
Writers’ Block will meet today at 3:30 in Ranger 110. Bring your notebook, pen and laptop and get ready to write and have some tea and cookies, too. All are welcome!

New year, same Book Club! We are back and starting a new reading cycle! For the next month or so, we will be reading Malinda Lo’s Last Night at the Telegraph Club. Our first meeting for the year will be next Wednesday. If you are interested in getting a copy, please contact Mr. Demsky by either writing a poem and leaving it in the hollow of a particularly handsome tree or emailing him.
The knitting and crocheting and other fiber arts club will meet this afternoon for a new quarter. We will be in Severance 16 from 3:30-4:30. We have supplies and can teach you how to get started or just come and craft with us. If you are interested but cannot attend today, email Dr. Vorhies or Mrs. Breen to be added to the Canvas page to get announcements.

Varsity Girls Basketball improved to 7 and 2 on Tuesday night with a win on the road against Essex beating them, 58-48. Cassidy Kittredge carried the night with 18 points, followed by Kaia Anderson with 9, and Emma Greenan and Anna Ebert both with 8 points.
Kingdom Blades beat MVU, 3-1, on Wednesday night! This improves their record to 9 and 0, and the team continues to hold the #1 spot in Girls Division 1 Hockey!
