Green Day

All members of Mrs. Jolliffe’s AP Seminar class — both Green and White Day students — should report to Ranger 213 directly after chapel.

During the exam period, a ring was found in Ranger 212. If you tested in that room and lost a ring, please see Mrs. Morris in Ranger 212 to claim it.

Happy Birthday today to Kira Radwich and Ella Romero!

Last Thursday, the Academy Nordic team raced at Craftsbury Outdoor Center. The girls, led by three ninth graders Tillie Lange in 1st, Kate Mckenzie in 3rd, and Ellie Reed in 4th, as well as sophomore Anya Moriarty, who finished in 2nd, won the skate race handily over three other teams. Senior Ava Purdy and Freshman Effie Dunn also scored in the top ten.

Like his younger sibling, Sisu Lange crushed the field with a commanding 1st-place finish in the boys’ race. Sophomore Levi Breton made huge strides from last year and finished 8th. The boys finished in second overall. Congratulations to both teams!

Over break the girls track and field team won all 5 meets they attended. They were led by Brooke White, number 1 in VT in the 600m and Triple Jump. Brooke, Aven Thomas, Willa Kantrowitz and Rylee Strohm lead the state in the 4×400 relay as well.

The boys have #1 rankings with Andrew Thornton-Sherman in the 600m, Emmett Johnson in the 1500, Carson Eames in the 3000m and Defending State Champion Diego Perez in the Weight Throw. The 4×400 relay of Daniel Carter, Gideon Pearson, Dillon Chen and Andrew and the 4×800 relay of Carson, Isaac Lenzini, Moses Andrews and Emmett lead Vermont as well. The Sprint Medley Relay of Wilder Thomas, Daniel Carter, Emmett Johnson and Andrew Thornton-Sherman won the Boston Holiday Challenge and qualified for the NB National Championships.

CROSS COUNTRY SKIING @ CRAFTSBURY OUTDOOR CENTER, please release the teams at 11:45
