White Day

This is the last week to bring in your donations for VT SUPPORTS to send care packages to soldiers from VT who will be stationed overseas for Christmas. Handmade cards or memorabilia to remind them of Vermont or other care package items are needed.  Collections will be now through Nov. 10 in Streeter 251.

If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball! Come show us your dodge ball skills this Friday from 3-5pm in the Dodgeball Tournament. Register your team of 6 in Student Life with Mr. LaCroix. There will be prizes for best team uniform and the overall champion!

Juniors — Time flies when you’re having fun and when your class is selling wreaths!  Since Friday, a mere 16 Juniors have sold wreaths, but they’ve sold 57 wreaths total, which is an average of 3.5 wreaths each. There are 248 Juniors. If every Junior sold 3.5 wreaths, we would raise $7000! Think about it, and please… sell a wreath today.

Attention Nordic skiers! We will hold an informational meeting on Tuesday at 3:00 in Ranger 209. The Nordic team welcomes athletes of all experience levels. Plus, we live in Vermont, and nothing is more Vermont than strapping skis on your feet and exploring the beauty of Vermont in the winter. We look forward to meeting you and answering your questions on Tuesday!

Attention to all athletes who competed in a sport this past fall: a Coach Evaluation survey has been sent to your stj labs account which the Student Athletic Advisory Council requests that you respond to at your earliest convenience. If you competed in a fall sport and did not receive the survey, please contact Brooke White so that it can be shared with you.

Calling all lifeguards — don’t forget! If you have your lifeguard certification and would like to work with a great team, go see Miss Higgs at the Field House for an application.

Math Team will be hosting the American Mathematics Competition 10/12 on Wednesday, November 8th in Severance 15. The test is 75 minutes long and will run from 3:30 until 5:00pm. Many colleges and universities look for this in the admissions process if you are planning to have a STEM focused major. If you are interested in joining us on the 8th, please email or stop by Mr. Kinsella’s office in Severance 13.

Happy Birthday today to Lloyd Lyu and Leila Shapiro!
