White Day

Attention International Students — Any student wanting to take the April 15th TOEFL must register by this Friday, March 24th. A link to register for the April TOEFL has been sent to your STJLabs email. See Mrs. McCaffrey in the Guidance Office with any questions.

This is your last chance to enter the Historical Fiction Contest! Stop by the display cases on the 2nd floor of Ranger Breezeway and see if you can identify your teacher’s favorite Historical Fiction. All entries must be submitted today by 3:30 to be entered into the drawing to win one of three gift cards!

All seniors in the VSAC GEAR UP program with Ms. Turner are asked to please check in with her in the cafeteria at lunchtime today. You are encouraged to check your email, and to make other arrangements to connect with Ms. Turner if you are not able to check in today.

Do you like trees? Do you like air? Do you like friendship? Do you like (safely) throwing ice axes at snow targets? If you would answer two or more of these questions with “indeed,” then you would love Outing Club! We will be meeting this week at 3:15 on Thursday in Ranger 215. You do not have to have come to an Outing Club event before in order to attend. Please see Mr. Demsky with any questions. See you Thursday; until then, be excellent to each other.

At the All-Girls New England Wrestling Tournament in Fitchburg MA, Brooke Davis placed 3rd and Hannah Keithan placed 4th in their respective weight classes. Congratulations girls you represented your school and state well!

Final awards have been announced for the Division one girls’ basketball season and the Hilltoppers were well-represented with end-of-season honors. On Saturday Kaylee Weaver and Lilian Kittredge represented the Hilltoppers in the North vs. the South Senior game during the VBCA All-Star weekend resulting in a win for the North. Hayden Wilkins won Dream Dozen honors, as voted on by the Vermont Basketball Coaches Association for being one of the top 12 underclassmen in Vermont across Divisions 1 and 2. Also as voted on by the Division 1 Metro Head Coaches, Hayden Wilkins earned player of the year, Kaia Anderson and Cassidy Kittredge earned Metro Honorable Mention, and Coach Huntington was named Metro Coach of the year. Congratulations to all award winners!

Happy Birthday today to Kadynce DeWees-Crane, Giovanna Eustace, Fela Maderia, Ernest Roy, and Henry Roy!
