White Day

Students in Chef Hale’s Introduction to Culinary classes, please check your stjlabs email for your class location this week.

Happy Monday Math Team. Today we will host the final round of the New England Math League competition at 3:30 in Fuller Basement.

Congratulations to Alice Nelson, Sarah Pennypacker, and Madison Wilson! Their one-act plays have been selected for special recognition at the Vermont Young Playwrights’ Festival in Burlington on May 17. Cecy Sweeney’s play has been selected as an alternate. The creative writing classes will be attending performances and workshops on that day to celebrate all of their work writing plays this semester. Many of the students’ plays will be performed by the acting classes in the weeks to come, right here on campus, so there will be an opportunity for other students to watch, too. Congratulations to the playwrights!

Scholars Bowl traveled to Montpelier on Saturday for the second day of state competition. The team defeated BFA Fairfax and moved on to compete with higher ranked Burlington. They lost in a hard fought and high scoring match. Practice will continue, so come by on Fridays for competition and cookies. New members always welcome! Congratulations to Senior Captain Cecy Sweeney, and Juniors Anna Casciari, Nico Sipples, Theodora Montague and Nathan Lenzini.

This is it: the final showdown of March Book Madness. Percy Jackson faces off with One of Us Is Lying in center court, also known as the library. Which beloved book will still be standing on March 31st? It’s up to you. Vote in person or fill out the online ballot by end of day Wednesday. Or simply email your vote to library@stjlabs.

Academy Theatre Mamma Mia rehearsal in the Blackbox and Band room at 3:30pm today.

Happy Birthday today to Rylee Acox and a special Happy Birthday to Isaiah Woodward from the Morris advisory!
