Attention International Students: Anyone interested in taking the March 7th TOEFL must register with Mrs. McCaffrey in Colby 106 by noon today.

 

On Friday night, Scholars’ Bowl traveled to Spaulding High School for the NAQT Championship. The Academy B squad, comprised of Conall Kennedy, Charlie Peralez, Poppy Shattuck, and Sophie White, finished the night ranked 8th out of 22 teams. The A squad, comprised of Marcus Burns, Phoebe Donn, Jonah Raser, and Aleksey Strokanov finished 3rd in the competition. Out of 84 individual competitors, Marcus scored the 10th most points and Jonah scored the 4th most. Thanks to Chef Hale for driving and all the support! Congratulations!

 

Congratulations to Senior Connor Decker who placed 3rd in his weight class at the Jason Lowell Wrestling Tournament on Saturday.

 

The SJA Gymnastics team remains undefeated, moving to 8-0 this week with a big win over Middlebury. Highlights include Peyton Thompson’s stellar 9.2 on beam and a podium sweep in the All Around by Lydia Ruggles, Kinley Remick, and Malia Ignjatovic. Congratulations to all who also scored personal bests at the meet.
