Welcome to Spirit Week!! Tomorrow’s dress theme is Not Your Average Twin Day! Pair up with a friend or a group to dress the same, or up your game and dress up as a famous duo or group, wear outfits that rhyme, or dress up as two things that complement each other, such as peanut butter and jelly!

 

A reminder that you must have a ticket for the 120th playing of the game vs LI on Saturday. Tickets are for sale at the Field House and cost $3 for students, and $5 for adults.

 

Hey, Sophomores! Spirit Week prep kicks off today — time to get sports crazy! Join us after school for: Hallway prep: R215, Float prep: Streeter Truck Shop, Skit practice: R213. We’ve got the plan — now we just need your energy to make it happen. Can’t wait to see you there!

 

Tinker House is now collecting gently used child and adult coats for the Paul Sweeney Memorial coat drive. Drop off coats from now until October 30th. The free coat sale will be at Good Sheperd Catholic School on November 1st from 9am-12pm.

 

Tonight at midnight will be the deadline to buy raffle tickets for hats made by Ms. Hibbert and Mr. Quinn. See posters around campus with a QR code or stop by Ranger 210 to buy a ticket! Winners will be notified by email.

 

Congratulations to Charlie Peralez who was the top scorer on the New England Math League with a score of 5 out of 6. Other top scorers include Riley Copans, Aleksey Strokanov, and Nico Borden each with a 4. The top 9th grade participant was Mariia Korol with a 3. Our team score was a 20/30. Join us on November 11 for Contest 2!

 

JV Girls soccer played to a huge tie against CVU, 3-3, on Wednesday. Riley Barrett, DD Roy, and Lila Yerkes each scored. Roy and Yerkes each contributed assists.

 

The Boys Cross Country team traveled to People’s academy on Saturday to face off against 6 other Vermont teams. The boys team finished 1st overall beating Stowe 19-80. The top finishers for the Academy took 5 out of the first 6 places with several members running to personal bests.

 

SJA Field Hockey finished the regular season with a 3-0 win over Milton. This win extends their win streak to 6 in a row and is their 4th shutout of the season. Goals were scored by Sylvia Laplant, Aven Thoms, and Molly Kimber, who also added an assist.

 

Girls Varsity Soccer won their last regular season game with two goals from Avery Gelwicks, assisted by Lucy Moriarty and Ellie Reed, and a goal from Emily Clark assisted by Thea Gilbert.

 

Congratulations to Zach Wood for earning Cal-Rec Player of the Week.
