The Varsity Girls Lacrosse team was busy over April break competing in three games. They topped Mt. Abe/Vergennes, 12-4, and lost close matches to CVU and Essex both 11-10 games. During these competitions: Kelsey Greenwood, Emmy Morgan, and Orleans Germond tallied a goal each. Lilly Laskowski added 2 goals. Molly Kimber added 3 and Riley O’Brien added 4 goals. Devlin Murphy added 5 goals, Maggie Langlais tallied 6 goals, and Meredith Rogers had 9 goals for the team. Addy Scott had 5 saves in goal and Ella Blanchard had 21 saves in goal! Well done GLAX!
The Varsity Boys Lacrosse team beat the Rice, 8 to 7, in overtime. Noah Pekarski had 4 goals. Derek Renaud and James Hatch each had one goal, and Jacob Emerson had two 2 goals, including the game winning goal in overtime. The team also beat Randolph, 11 to 4.
Girls Tennis defeated North Country, 4- 3, with their second double’s win securing the match win! Victoria Gutierrez battled her opponent successfully for over two hours, with many points lasting 8 to 10 volleys.
Varsity Baseball beat Hartford, 15-0. Adrian Mitchell went 2 for 3 with 2 RBIs and 2 walks, and Rex Hauser went 2 for 4 with 1 RBI.
